Breast Cancer Awareness Day at Nightingale
Nightingale celebrated Breast Cancer Awareness Day on Friday the 18th of October. To raise awareness of breast cancer, the team followed the theme of ‘Wear it Pink’, and had a pink party with pink cupcakes, pink smoothies, pink decorations, and the manager Simon even wore a pink wig! Residents enjoyed celebrating the day with their pink clothing, and residents and staff had a conversation over the lunchtime party about why we are having the party, and the importance of checking ourselves!
