Culture Day at Cygnet Brunel
Staff and service users at Cygnet Brunel recently celebrated a Culture Day. Activities included colour your country on a flag, guess the flag, culture quiz, prepared and hosted by a service user, and an open mic where everyone sang and danced to their cultural songs. There was also a variety of healthy food from around the world including British salad, Indian moon dal salad, Jamaican ackee, Moroccan couscous salad, Mediterranean couscous salad and hummus.
Priyanka Charansingh, a Psychotherapist at Cygnet Brunel, said: “It was a very beautiful and successful day. This day was to bring everyone together to foster harmony and unity in our diverse workplace by not just respecting but also striving to accept each other’s cultural backgrounds.”
