Cygnet Appletree host carers drop-in session
Earlier this week the team at Cygnet Appletree hosted a highly successful drop-in session for carers.
Diane Maughan, the hospital’s Carer Lead, said: “What a fantastic day it was! We had a number of families of Cygnet Appletree patients and 25 staff members in attendance. Everyone had a great time, enjoying cupcakes, cake, and a pamper bag, making the event not just informative but also entertaining.
“The raffle, a highlight of the day, was a resounding success. With free entry for all, everyone walked away with a pamper hamper. The event also provided a platform to discuss the concerns and worries of carers, fostering open communication.”
