Cygnet Fountains hold Christmas Market
The festive markets were co-produced with sustainability in mind, lots of handmade items were for sale, including handmade chocolates and festive wreaths from items foraged from the allotment garden and during walking groups.
Sales from the items sold at the market will be donated to Blackburn Foodbank. Cygnet Fountains have great community links with the foodbank and often do collection drives for the Blackburn branch.
Faye Thornton, Activities Coordinator, said: “We transformed the dining room into a Winter Wonderland, filled with music, fabulous food and games. Fun was had by all and it really got us in the Christmas spirit.”
The event was enjoyed by all with one family member saying she had had a great day and adding: “It is wonderful what you all do I really cannot thank you all enough!”
