Cygnet Hospital Beckton celebrate Nursing Support Workers Day
Today the team at Cygnet Hospital Beckton have been celebrating Nursing Support Workers Day with gifts and a wellbeing breakfast.
This year’s theme, “Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion”, highlights the importance of inclusivity within the nursing profession. Support workers, senior support workers, and social therapists play a critical role in providing high-quality care to patients, families, carers, and nursing teams every day.
Florence Ukaegbu, Cygnet Hospital Beckton’s Wellbeing and Engagement Lead, said: “Today, we honour the dedication, invaluable work, and say a heartfelt thank you to our fantastic support workers. We are truly grateful for all you do!”
