Cygnet Hospital Ealing raise funds for earthquake appeal
The Occupational Therapy and Social Work teams at Cygnet Hospital Ealing recently arranged a fundraiser with all proceeds to be given to charities to support those in dire need in Syria and Turkey after the devastating earthquake that took place.
Service users on both wards engaged in separate baking group sessions where they chose baked items to make and these were all sold at the fundraiser. Service users also assisted in selling various items that had been donated by staff.
The event was a great success with a total of £262 raised to go to supporting families in Syria and Turkey.
