Cygnet Views goes green for St Patrick’s Day
On Monday, Cygnet Views spent the day celebrating St. Patrick’s Day.
The unit was decorated with Irish flags, bunting and balloons, and staff and patients wore green to celebrate the day.
In the morning, a staff well-being session was held by Trainee Psychologist Emily O’Grady, with themed St Patrick’s Day activities, including a team building treasure hunt exercise with fun facts about improving mental wellbeing at each point.
In the afternoon, service users and staff got together to enjoy some themed activities, such as face painting, a quiz, nail painting, word searches and colouring.
The day was finished off by listening to some Irish music and enjoying some green cake and drinks and the day was thoroughly enjoyed by all!
