Cygnet Views hold charity Bake Sale
The salon was decorated for the event with posters and blue bunting. Staff and service users baked a range of treats to sell, including homemade coffee and vanilla fudge, shortbread, cupcakes, lemon cake, scones and much more! After delivering flyers earlier this week, and advertising the sale on social media, the bake sale was a sell-out and managed to raise £217 for Footprints.
Service users took the time to purchase cakes, but also helped out throughout the day, by taking payments and helping to serve customers. Service users and staff judged the best cakes before they were sold and the winner was gifted a star baker spoon – well done to Psychologist Emily O’Grady who won this for her artistic cupcakes.
The event was a great way to connect with the wider community.
