Cygnet Views raise £700 in charity raffle for Footprints
The team at Cygnet Views recently held their latest fundraising event for their chosen charity of the year, Footprints Conductive Education Centre by holding a raffle at the Red Lion in Matlock.
The event was organised by activity coordinator Beth Appleton who along with service users spent time leading up to the raffle contacting local businesses for prizes. The local community were very generous; the amazing prizes including vouchers from local restaurants, vouchers for local beauty treatments, tickets for local attractions and gifts from local shops.
Beth said: “It was a great night. We had Cygnet staff, the general public and Stephen the founder of Footprints who said a few words and was very grateful to the Views for our collaboration this year. The event was well attended and raised £700!”
