Cygnet Woking Hospital Unveils New Art Gallery
The newly unveiled Woking Gallery, at Cygnet Hospital Woking, showcases incredible artwork by service users, bringing vibrant colour to the hospital walls.
The collaboration between patients, therapists, and staff transformed a blank space into a co-produced haven.
The emphasis on self-expression and reflection, coupled with art psychotherapy sessions, highlights the profound impact of creativity on mental health.
Feedback from the service users has been overwhelmingly positive, with comments such as:

- “I like being able to choose what art to do, painting, drawing or even using clay.”
- “I find it difficult to talk about what’s happening in my head, but I can draw it for my doctors.”
