Ellen Mhor residents take part in Scottish Services’ Christmas Festival

Residents from Ellen Mhor lit up the stage at the Scottish Services’ Christmas Festival, which was held at the Cathedral Hall in Dunblane, with their acting and singing in the Christmas nativity play.

The group spent weeks in rehearsals, perfecting their lines under the guidance of Karen Shaw, Occupational Therapist at Ellen Mhor, who put her own comedic spin on the traditional nativity by setting the play in Scotland instead of Bethlehem.

Their hard work and enthusiasm paid off, as they delivered a brilliant and hilarious performance that brought the Nativity story to life for all the other residents and staff in the audience that went along to watch the show.

The Christmas festival wasn’t just about the Nativity performance — some residents also showcased their singing skills in the Christmas talent competition and others joined in with a Makaton choir, singing Rudolph The Red Nose Reindeer & Jingle Bells.
