Message in a bauble / Virtual Christmas Service at Maidstone
As we know 2020 has been far from a normal year and the team at Cygnet Hospital Maidstone wanted to spread some Christmas cheer amongst their service users and staff. Carer Coordinator Jutta arranged for each service user to receive a message in a bauble, the bauble contained a message from Simba, the Hospital Manager and Carers were also contacted to provide messages. The staff were also encouraged to take part and write a message for a fellow colleague. Everyone was really overwhelmed with the messages they received and there were smiles all round, it meant so much to the service users when they realised they had messages from their family and carers. Prior to the baubles being given they enjoyed a virtual Christmas service with local Vicar Graham, Christmas songs were sung, there was a reading and then presenting the baubles.
