Nightingale’s ‘Big Night Out’ in Bournemouth
Residents and staff from Nightingale danced the night away at Cameo nightclub in Bournemouth for their ‘Big Night Out’ event, organised by a collective of Dorset-based organisations and funded by Suttles Stone Quarries.
The Big Night Out is Bournemouth and Poole’s only club night run by and for people with learning disabilities and has been running since 2006. Everyone looks forward to this event which happens twice a year.
Nightingale residents spent the day having a pamper session and making sure they had their outfits ready. They then made their way to the nightclub and had lots of fun, saw lots of friends and even made some new ones. Nightingale’s Manager, Simon, also came to show off his dance moves.
Everyone involved really enjoyed themselves and are already talking about the next event!
