Ranaich House Appoint new Resident Advocate

In preparation for Scottish Learning Disability Week, Ranaich House held an election to appoint a resident advocate at the service, someone who can collate feedback and ideas from the group to make sure everyone is heard. The service manager Jorden Duffy and CAP advocate Mo MacDonald counted and verified the votes. All residents gathered in the dining room to announce the new lead advocate and runners up were given chocolates for taking part.
The winner was then announced… Angie! They held an inauguration and Angie gave a speech. “ I didn’t expect to win this, thank you for voting for me, I can be your voice and you come to me with an problems and I will help you fix it.”
