Ranaich House attend Scottish Learning Disability Nursing Network conference
On Friday 14th June 2024 staff and residents from our residential services in Scotland, attended the annual Scottish Learning Disability Nursing Network conference held at Glasgow Caledonian University. Learning Disability Nurses from Ranaich House and Trinity House attended and were delighted to see our psychology team (Michelle, Lauren & Thomas) present on PBS 360 supported by Dr Michelle Carr. One resident, Angela, presented her own contribution sharing the importance of being part of her community. The team were very proud of her for standing up in front of over 100 participants.
In addition to co-sponsoring the event the Cygnet team also had an exhibition stall which was very successful. Nicola, co-chair of the event, said: “Just wanted to say a big thank you to you and your team for your contribution on the day. The presentation was fab, there has been lots of mentions of the benefit of the session, particularly Angela’s involvement. The stall was also a big hit with delegates”
