Retention Day and Significant Work Anniversary Ceremony at Cygnet Hospital Beckton
This month, Cygnet Hospital Beckton Celebrated Retention Day and held a Significant Work Anniversary Ceremony, to showcase their commitment to staff well-being and recognition.
To prioritise staff wellness, the event featured free onsite massage therapy sessions, complemented by soothing music and sensory lights, creating a relaxing atmosphere. Positive feedback poured in from the team, who embraced the opportunity to unwind and connect.
A highlight of the day was the Staff Recognition Session led by Awa Bah, Senior Clinical Service Manager. She delivered heartfelt words of appreciation, recognising the achievements the team have accomplished together, reflecting on areas for growth, and sharing exciting plans for the year ahead. Team members actively participated, sharing their thoughts and objectives for the service.
On the day, 13 staff members were honoured for their years of service at Cygnet, celebrating milestones of 5, 10, 20, and 25 years — an impressive total of 125 years of dedicated support. Additionally, Employee of the Month for November, Jemima Dakwa, Nurse on Svanna Ward, was celebrated for her outstanding contributions, with her award presented by Sujata Sharma, PDN. Gratitude, smiles, and cheers filled the room as they acknowledged the efforts of their colleagues.
The celebrations were complete with delicious fruit, delightful cakes, and uplifting music, creating a memorable and joyful atmosphere.
