Toller Road resident thanked for volunteering
Connor, a resident at Toller Road, has been thanked by Age UK for his dedicated work as a volunteer at the Memory Café in Leicester, which supports people with dementia.
For over two years, Connor has been volunteering at the monthly café, which is held at the local church. He engages with group members, assists with activities, and prepares drinks for them. During Volunteers Week, he received a certificate to honour his commitment and contribution.
Dan, the Age UK Lead, has noted his passion and dedication to his role and provided positive feedback.
The staff at Toller Road said: “Keep up the great work, Connor! You are truly amazing.”
