Meet the Team

Richard Lee - Registered Manager
Richard has worked in care for 11 years, starting initially as a support worker before progressing to team leader. After going to university Richard then became service manager for a supported living service and then on to become dual registered manager for two residential homes. Richard joined Cygnet in January 2023 as Registered Manager of the Beeches.
Amy Skoyles - Deputy Manager
Amy has over 17 years of experience working in health and social care. Amy joined the team at Beeches in 2014, initially starting as a support worker before being appointed Deputy Manager in January 2021.
Anthony Cobb - Activities Coordinator
Anthony has been in the care industry for over 14 years. He started off working at Rampton Hospital in the kitchens, then took on roles throughout the hospital until leaving in 2013.
Anthony then began working with dementia patients, which he did for a number of years before making the decision to begin his career working with adults with autism and learning disabilities and beginning his current role as activities coordinator for the Beeches care home.

Izzy Leighton - Speech and Language Therapist
Izzy qualified as a Speech & Language Therapist in 2005. She worked in the NHS before joining Cygnet in 2018.
She has always worked with adults with learning disabilities who have complex needs, including autism, dementia, challenging behaviours and profound and multiple needs. Her role is to work in identifying and working with individuals with communication difficulties, enabling those individuals to communicate effectively and advising and supporting others to do the same.
She also has additional training in assessing, managing and supporting individuals with eating, drinking and swallowing needs.

Emma Mellor - Occupational Therapist
Emma joined Cygnet in September 2023 as an Occupational Therapist.
Prior to this, she began her journey in the care sector as a support worker, working with adults with learning disabilities in a supported living service, which she did for a number of years. It was during that time Emma discovered Occupational Therapy, and decided to enrol on a pre-registration master’s course to qualify. She has experience across various settings, including children’s disability services, elderly and frail community services, and mental health.
In her spare time, Emma enjoys camping, country walks, and football.

Daisy Cronin - Assistant Psychologist
Daisy has a psychology degree from the University of Essex and recently also completed her Master’s degree in cognitive neuroscience and neuropsychology from the University of Essex.
Alongside her studies, she worked for 3 years as a domiciliary care worker for vulnerable adults. She worked with adults who had a range of physical and mental disabilities. After enjoying doing care work with adults with autism and LD, Daisy began working as an Assistant Psychologist at Beeches.
