Information for Visitors

At Cygnet Hospital Godden Green we are pleased to have a flexible approach towards visiting. However our wards do have individual requirements so as to not compromise any patient treatment or safety.

Please note: The ward is staffed 24hrs however it is advisable to avoid calling between the hours of 7.30 & 8.30am and 7.30 & 8.30pm where possible as the nursing staff may be involved in handover and medication rounds. Administration and accounts staff are available between the hours of 9am & 5pm if you have any queries concerning these matters.

Visiting hours

Visitors can now call to arrange visiting times directly with the ward staff between 9:00am and 5:00pm.

Visitors under the age of 18

Children under the age of 18 are welcome to visit, however it is important that the nursing team are made aware in advance as they will need to carry out a risk assessment and create a management plan. The young person must be supervised by a visiting adult for the duration of the visit and should not be left unsupervised within the hospital or the grounds.

Meals

If you would like to stay for dinner, please ask a member of the nursing team to inform the kitchen. Guest meals may be paid for at the time. Dinner is served at 5.30pm.

On arrival at the hospital

Please sign in and out at the main reception when arriving and leaving the building and also report to the nursing office on arrival to the ward.
