Byron Ward does not have specific opening times.
Springs Service
Visiting hours are 5pm – 7pm Monday to Friday and 2pm – 7pm at weekends.
Please pre – arrange your visit with the unit, wing or ward you are visiting. If you are unable to attend at the above times, the team will be happy to arrange a more suitable visiting time for you. However, we do ask that visitors avoid attending during normal therapy hours as this will compromise the patients treatment.
Between 8am – 8pm Monday to Friday and 9am – 2pm Saturday, you will need to enter via the main entrance. You will be greeted by our receptionist who will arrange for a member of our team to escort you to meet the patient you are visiting. Out of hours and weekends, you will need to enter via the Springs entrance which is located at the start of the visitors car park.
Children are welcome to visit patients at the hospital by prior arrangement with the clinical team. Children under the age of 18 must be supervised by an adult at all times whilst on the premises.

Parking
At Cygnet Hospital Harrow, we have a free visitor’s car park. Should there be no vacant spaces, there is free parking on London Road.
What to expect on arrival
On arrival, you will be greeted and asked to sign in. You will be asked if you have any contraband items and we may ask to search your bag to ensure none of these items are taken onto the premises. This is a security measure for both you and the patient you are visiting.
Places to stay
Should visitors need local accommodation, The Old Etonian Hotel is a ten minute walk, centred next to Harrow School. Providing beautiful views of the surrounding area, The Old Estonian is the perfect stay should you wish to explore local history.
Places to visit
With its multicultural community and profusion of history, Harrow has an array of attractions to suit every need.
Popular places to visit include Headstone Manor and St Lawrence Church; Bentley Priory and Grim’s Dyke, all examples of the wonderful architecture visible throughout Harrow. The world famous Harrow School offer a multitude of historic buildings and is also a short walk from the hospital.
There are certain school events which are open to the public; during term time, Harrow School musicians perform a lunch time concert every Tuesday in Saint Mary’s Church. The Michaelmas Concert takes place in the Speech Room in the Autumn term where you can enjoy music from the schools big band, jazz band and school orchestra.
St Annes and Saint Georges shopping centres are located in the centre of town and more locally Harrow on the Hill has a variety of restaurants.
