Getting Here

Cygnet Hospital Maidstone is situated on the outskirts of Maidstone, Kent just off junction 7 of the M20 motorway.

By Car

If you are travelling from outside of Maidstone, junction 7 of the M20 is the nearest. When exiting from the motorway at the first roundabout take the A249 exit for Maidstone, staying in the near-side lane for Bearsted. At the second roundabout take the first exit towards Bearsted. At the third roundabout take the first exit on to Newnham Court Way past the signs for the Maidstone Medical Campus. Gidds Pond Way (not currently showing on Google Maps) is on the right hand side before neighboring KIMS Hospital.

By Train

The nearest train station is Bearsted. In addition Maidstone is served by three train stations with trains from London and the surrounding areas of Kent. All four stations are within a ten minute car journey to the hospital:

  • Bearsted – 1.3 miles
  • Maidstone East – 2 miles
  • Maidstone West – 2.5 miles
  • Maidstone Barracks – 3 miles

If you are travelling from London, direct trains to Maidstone leave from London Victoria arriving at Maidstone East. The next station after Maidstone East from London is Bearsted. Although this station is nearer to the hospital please be aware that there are limited taxis at this station.
