Acorn Ward – Female PICU

Gender: Female

Age: 18+

Beds: 10

Acorn Ward, our 10 bed female PICU, accepts emergency and crisis admissions. Referrals can come to us from all areas, including acute and prison services.

Our aim is a short, rapid intervention to help service users regain a sense of control and order in their lives, so they can move to a less restrictive care setting and return home.

“During my time at Cygnet I felt safe and welcome. I would like
to thank all the staff, including all managers, for my stay and helping me get better back to my health. I’m very happy with my stay and would recommend Cygnet to friends and family, they have helped me, not just with my physical and mental health but have helped me a lot in life. Thank you to all”Family member
