Carla Roadnight - Hospital Manager
Carla qualified as an RMN in 1997 from St Bartholomew’s School of Nursing in London. She spent 20 years working in the NHS in both community and inpatient settings and gained experience as a Staff Nurse, Community Mental Health Nurse and a Mental Health Practitioner in Crisis Care. Carla quickly progressed into management roles and has worked as the Modern Matron for the Crisis Resolution Home Treatment Team in Portsmouth and the Area Head of Nursing for Southampton Mental Health Services. Carla moved into the independent sector in 2017 and worked as a Hospital Director for The Priory Group, leading the hospital from CQC Requires Improvement to Good within a year of her appointment.Carla joined Cygnet Hospital Woking in November 2021.
Carla is committed to staff wellbeing and support and believes that improved staff welfare has positive impacts on high quality patient care. Carla has a passion for individualised care and reducing restrictive practice and actively promotes a culture of learning and transparency through her leadership.
Lindah Munowenyu - Clinical Manager
Since qualifying as an RMN in 2007 Lindah has gained experience in a variety of setting including; CAMHS, adult mental health settings for low secure, acute and rehab in both the NHS and private health care settings.
Lindah currently works as the ward manager for Oaktree Ward, a low secure for female service users and has been a member of the Cygnet Hospital Woking (formerly known as Alpha Hospitals) since 2007. Current responsibilities include being the link nurse for preceptor nurses.
Julie Fulk - General Manager
Julie has over 25 years of experience within Customer Services having spent the majority of that time within Informa UK which is an Events & Publishing House which she joined in 1989 as a junior and left in 2007 as a Customer Services Manager (Life Sciences & Documentation Division).
Julie decided to take a change in direction in terms of her career and joined Alpha Hospital in 2009 as a temporary Medical Secretary following a short assignment Julie was taken on as a permanent member of staff and subsequently became the PA to the Medical Director and was then appointed the position of Office Manager. Julie was appointed General Manager in January 2022.
Dr Richard Church - Medical Director
Dr Church studied medicine at the University of Cambridge and undertook general psychiatric training at South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust. He trained in child and adolescent psychiatry on the Maudsley rotation, and then in forensic psychiatry at West London Mental Health NHS Trust, subsequently working as a Consultant Psychiatrist and Lead Clinician in the London Borough of Lambeth.
After working in the NHS for over 15 years, in November 2017 Dr Church joined Cygnet Woking as Medical Director and Consultant Forensic Psychiatrist on Oaktree Ward, a Female Low Secure Unit. He is passionate about quality improvement, recovery and involvement of service users and family in care planning and the delivery of services.
Dr Church also has longstanding academic interests in offender health, youth justice, safeguarding and medicolegal aspects of forensic psychiatry including fitness to plead, psychiatric defences, risk assessment and risk management. He is an Honorary Clinical Senior Lecturer at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience, King’s College London, and serves on a number of national and international boards and committees.
Dr Charlotte Keeling - Head of Psychological Services, Consultant Clinical Psychologist
Dr. Charlotte Keeling is a Chartered Consultant Clinical Psychologist who has experience within both the NHS and private services.
Charlotte has worked in a wide range of mental health services including working for South London and Maudsley Trust, Kings College, Rehabilitation and Forensic Assertive Outreach Team - High Support Team. In addition she also worked at Westways Formulation, Intervention and Recovery Service again for South London and Maudsley Trust, Kings College. She has also worked in an Assertive Outreach Team in Southampton.
She enjoys working predominantly with difficult to engage service users and has a particular interest in Psychosis. Dr. Keeling has an MSc. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Manchester. She has further completed a Post Graduate Diploma in CBT for Psychosis at Kings College London. Dr. Keeling leads a coping with voices group here at Cygnet Hospital Woking.
Courtney Greene - Head of Occupational Therapy
After graduating from the University of Cape Town in 2014, Courtney began working for a private mental health group specialising in dual diagnosis and adolescent Services. Courtney moved over to the UK to work for Cygnet in 2019, starting at Cygnet Hospital Taunton. Over this time Courtney gained specific skills working across acute mental health and learning disability services.
In May 2021, Courtney joined Woking as Deputy Head of Occupational Therapy and in September 2021, Courtney was appointed Head of Occupational Therapy to provide leadership to and management of the OT department at Cygnet Hospital Woking and Cygnet Lodge Woking.
Courtney is passionate about caregiver involvement and is currently our Friends, Family and Carers Lead. Courtney’s primary goal and focus is reducing restrictive practice in occupational roles and is an advocate for service user autonomy and engagement.
Courtney was appointed Regional Lead Occupational Therapist in March 2022 to support other OT departments across the region to deliver a high-quality effective service.
Andreas Evangelatos - Compliance Manager
After graduating from the National University of Athens with a BSc in Philosophy and History of Science, Andreas continued his Post Graduate studies at the University of Glasgow completing an MSc in International Politics in 2010. He soon joined the Institute for Security & Defence Analysis as a Security & Defence Analyst and the Institute of International Relations as an Associate Researcher.
In 2013 Andreas decided to change his career course and joined Alpha Hospitals initially as a Mental Health Support Worker and then as a Lead Mental Health Act Administrator, a role that he served for 7 years. Since 2019 and in parallel with his Mental Health Act duties Andreas has been leading on the Hospital’s Auditing and Compliance procedures. In February 2022 he was officially appointed as Compliance Manager for Cygnet Hospital Woking and Cygnet Lodge Woking.
Andreas is passionate about performance improvement and the study of Leadership models and theories.
