Meet the Team

Lottie Martin - Hospital Manager

Lottie joined Cygnet in 2015 as Head of Care at Cygnet Sedgley Lodge before transferring over to Sedgley House later the same year. During this time she lead on all clinical matters at the hospital. In October 2020 Lottie became the covering interim hospital manager enabling her to build on her existing skills and gain new ones in operational management and in September 2021 she successfully became the hospital manager at Sedgley House and Lodge.

In July 2022 Lottie became the registered manager for the West Midlands community services and works closely with her colleagues to support residents recovery within the community setting. She was appointed Hospital Manager of Cygnet Hospital Wolverhampton in 2024.

Lottie is a registered mental health nurse with over 21 years’ experience spent in different settings including male and female acute wards, rehabilitation and community services including patients with eating disorders. Lottie works closely with other healthcare professionals, such as integrated care board and local community teams to ensure that service users receive comprehensive and coordinated care throughout their recovery pathway. Lottie ensures her services delivers the best possible experience for individuals and their carers and staff feel they are supported and valued. Lottie is passionate about service development and service user’s involvement in service improvement.

Dr Sarah Foulger - Consultant Forensic Psychologist

Sarah is Head of Psychology at Cygnet Hospital Wolverhampton and the Regional Lead for Psychology (West Midlands). She began working for the organisation in 2009 and has worked within our male and female mental health rehabilitation services, specialist trauma services for adolescents and our specialised service for personality disorder. Sarah has extensive experience of assessment and intervention for those with severe and enduring mental illnesses, personality disorders, substance misuse difficulties and offending histories.

Sarah is passionate about her work in forensic mental health and trauma focused approaches. She uses a variety of therapeutic approaches including cognitive behavioural therapy, dialectical behavioural skills, schema and compassion focused therapy to take account of individual need and promote the best outcomes for all individuals in her care.
