Meet the Team

Amardip Prihar - Hospital Manager
Ama began her mental health career in 2003 as a Health Care Support Worker, working with women in medium secure services. She completed an MA in Social Work in 2011 and began practicing as a Mental Health Social Worker.
She has extensive inpatient and community experience, working with children, young people, adults, and older adults. Her inpatient work includes low/medium secure services, patient intensive care units, acute wards, and rehabilitation wards. In the community, she has worked with Early Intervention Services, Assertive Outreach Teams, Community Mental Health Teams, and Crisis Resolution Home Treatment teams.
Since 2015, Ama has undertaken operational management roles within Community Mental Health Teams, inpatient Forensic Services, and Mental Health Rehabilitation Services, encompassing both inpatient and community settings.
Ama is looking forward to meeting all the staff at Cygnet Kenney House and to the opening of the service. She is very excited about this prospect and welcomes all stakeholders to the Cygnet Kenney House service. Together with other team members, she will ensure the service provides safe, effective, and high-quality care, empowering and enabling women on their mental health recovery journey.

Sacha Barnes - Clinical Manager
Sacha qualified as mental health nurse in 2011, from Leeds Metropolitan University. Sacha joined Cygnet at the end of 2011 as a Staff Nurse, and has worked in various roles including Staff Nurse, Clinical Team Leader, Ward Manager, Clinical Manager and Hospital Manager. Sacha has gained experience across a variety of services, including Low Secure, Older Adults, PICU, Acute and Rehabilitation.
Sacha joined Cygnet Kenney House as Clinical Manager in April 2024, and has led on the development and opening of the service.
Sacha is passionate about providing high quality care, leading new initiatives to improve care, reducing restrictive practice, and supporting staff well-being and development.

Dr Raphael Ogbolu - Consultant Psychiatrist & Medical Director
Dr Raphael Ogbolu studied medicine in Nigeria and qualified as a doctor in January 1997. He started his career in mental health in 2002 when he started his residency (specialist) training in psychiatry at the Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH). He was the overall best candidate nationwide in the National Postgraduate College of Medicine of Nigeria Part One fellowship exam in 2004, and got his psychiatry fellowship (FMCPsych) in June 2008, qualifying as a consultant psychiatrist.
Dr. Ogbolu went into private psychiatric practice in 2008 serving as medical director at one of the few private psychiatric facilities, before being appointed as a consultant psychiatrist to LUTH in 2010. He is an alumnus of the Administrative Staff College of Nigeria (ASCON) and a certified mediator from the Lagos Multi-door Court-House (Alternate Dispute Resolution). He is a passionate teacher and has been involved in teaching medical students of the College of Medicine University of Lagos, the University of Manchester, University of Liverpool and Lancaster University Medical School.
He is passionate about suicide prevention in Nigeria and founded the Suicide Research and Prevention Initiative (SURPIN) – the most structured and comprehensive suicide prevention organization in Nigeria, made up of over 100 professionals. He has also served as the National Representative of the International Association for Suicide Prevention (IASP).
He joined the Lancashire & South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust, UK, in 2019 and worked in the START team, the Community Mental health (CMHT), Home Based Treatment Team (HBTT), inpatient care (male and female general adult and PICU wards at the Harbour, Blackpool) and was the Trust’s lead for suicide prevention. He had roles as a clinical supervisor, Approved Clinician coach and mentor. He got onto the GMC Specialist register in 2024 after successfully completing the CESR pathway.
Dr Ogbolu joined Cygnet in September 2024 and hopes to bring his vast clinical, leadership and management experience to Cygnet Kenney House. He is excited and looking forward to working with other members of the team and the services users to provide high-quality care that is safe and effective, with the service user at the heart of care.

Sadat Hudi - Ward Manager, Baldock Ward
Sadat began his career in mental health nursing, developing strong clinical skills and a commitment to patient-centred care. His dedication and leadership abilities led to him appointment as the psychiatric ward in-charge at New Edubiase Government Hospital, Ghana, in December 2015. In this role, he prioritised patient safety, effective team collaboration, and ethical nursing practice, ensuring high-quality mental health services.
In pursuit of professional growth, Sadat moved to the UK and started as a senior support worker with Elysium Healthcare. With a strong commitment to the NMC Code—prioritising people, practicing effectively, preserving safety, and promoting professionalism, Sadat progressed to a charge nurse role. He worked across low and medium secure wards as well as acute settings, providing holistic, evidence-based care while advocating for patient rights and dignity.
Sadat joined Cygnet in March 2025, continuing his mission to uphold high standards of mental healthcare. Passionate about teamwork, empowerment, and holistic care, he strives to work collaboratively with colleagues, patients, and families, ensuring a safe, compassionate, and recovery-focused environment.

Amelia Jones - Ward Manager, Billington Ward
Amelia (Milli) qualified as a Registered Mental Health Nurse from the University of Manchester in October 2021. Milli has worked across different inpatient units including mixed acute, CAMHs, specialist rehabilitation services and both male and female PICU.
Since 2023 Milli has transitioned into leadership roles within inpatient settings, she has a passion for clinical practice and ensuring personalised, trauma based care to service users.
Milli joined Cygnet in September 2024, her goals are to create a safe and supportive environment to deliver high quality care to its service users, as well as teaching and developing the team to enhance knowledge, skills and learning.

Tolulope Akor - Ward Manager, Harben Ward
Tolu is a Registered Mental Health Nurse and has worked in various roles since joining Cygnet in March 2021. These have included a senior support worker, Staff Nurse, Clinical Team Leader and Acting Ward Manager. Tolu joined Cygnet Kenney House in August 2024 after successfully securing the post of Ward Manager.
Tolu strives to build a great experience using a recovery model which focuses on person-centered care and supporting staff well-being and development.

Jenny Eluwa - Head of Psychology
Jenny is an HCPC (Health and Care Professional Council) registered Practitioner Clinical Psychologist. She is an Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society and also a Registered Supervisor. She has worked as a Clinical Psychologist for close to 13years within mental health services in and outside the UK. Five of those years she worked at the Neuropsychiatric Hospital Aro, Abeokuta, Nigeria before relocating to the UK.
Jenny has worked within secure and non-secure settings. In addition to clinical work, she facilitates reflective practice sessions, clinical supervision, and trainings for staff. Jenny has worked as the Psychology Lead at an inpatient Personality Disorder and Rehabilitation service.
After previously working for Cygnet Bury, Jenny rejoined Cygnet in October 2024 as the Head of Psychology at Cygnet Kenney House. She is also currently a panel member of the Black and Asian Applied Psychologists Fund Panel of the British Psychology Society.
Jenny believes in working with service users and the staff teams to promote a psychologically informed environment where everyone feels safe and are enabled to work towards enhancing the quality of life of service users by providing service users with high quality care.

Nissi Mammen - Highly Specialist Occupational Therapist
Nissi is the Highly Specialist Occupational Therapist at Cygnet Kenney House, with over 15 years of experience in health and social care across various roles. She has worked in diverse inpatient settings, including acquired and degenerative brain injury, neurological conditions, and both secure and non-secure mental health services.
Nissi joined Cygnet Kenney House in August 2024. Dedicated to service development, Nissi applies evidence-based practices and fosters a collaborative team environment to enhance outcomes for both service users and staff. Her leadership and commitment to high-quality care ensure that individuals receive the support they need to achieve their goals, improve their well-being, and lead meaningful lives.

Richard Collins - Admin Manager
Richard has been with Cygnet since 2021, working closely with all the different departments at the Cygnet Bury site as a data analyst. He has over 35 years of experience working in administration, payroll, HR, planning and aata analysis roles.
Richard has worked within the pharmaceutical, transport and manufacturing industries so brings a great deal of administration experience to his new role as Admin Manager at Cygnet Kenney House.

Karen Fitzpatrick - Housekeeping Supervisor
Karen is the Housekeeping Supervisor at Kenney House and joined the team in August 2024.
While this is her first role in a mental health setting, she brings valuable experience from her previous work with children with special needs.
Karen is dedicated to creating a clean, comfortable and welcoming environment for both staff and service users. She has a strong self interest in promoting health and well-being and is committed to ensuring that the living spaces support the overall care and recovery of those in our service.

Karl Holt - Maintenance Manager
Karl is an experienced Engineering Manager, in both project management, corporate sales and specification. Karl has worked in the UK and overseas for a number of years.
With a passion for safety and comfort of service users and colleagues, Karl has a keen interest in keeping abreast the health and safety of the hospital. Previous to joining Cygnet Karl spent time working for the Ministry of Justice.
