The hospital provides a safe and secure place to aid recovery alongside offering those diagnosed with a progressive neurological disease like Huntington’s Disease, a placement to support and help manage the progression of their symptoms.
The hospital is a modern, purpose-built facility, designed specifically to provide a clinically-led evidence-based neuropsychiatric pathway for individuals presenting with behaviours that challenge as a result of their ABI.
Our focus is to create a therapeutic rich environment to engage the women in our care and offer them the opportunity to maximise their independence.
“My wife and I want to share our immense appreciation for the support that Newham House in Middlesbrough provided to our daughter. Everyone from the Consultant, other professionals, nurses, care assistants, receptionists and cleaners all played their part in supporting our daughter. It was initially a very challenging time for all the family and close friends, but we were supported throughout her recovery. It was humbling to see the level of care and support that each patient was provided. It was also positive how much our feedback was genuinely sought and factored into the care and operation of the hospital.”Parent
