Meet the Team
Paul Jones - Hospital Manager
Paul has worked within psychiatric care for more than 25 years, specialising in secure and complex psychiatric environments. He has over 18 years of management and leadership experience and has been involved in the successful set up of several low secure provisions including; male rehabilitation, male PICU, and female complex care.
Paul has worked in a variety of settings, both female personality disorder complex care and female low secure forensic units. He has a wealth of experience in change management and service improvement.
With a history of working both NHS and independent sectors, Paul is dedicated to building strong working relationships with both healthcare and community organisations for the benefit of the people we support Paul has worked for Cygnet for the over 10 years.
Lizzie Peyton - Clinical Manager
Lizzie qualified as Registered Learning Disability Nurse in 2014 and started with the team at Victoria House in the same year as a Staff Nurse. Lizzie progressed in her role to become a Senior Staff Nurse and a Head of Care before being appointed in her current role as Clinical Manager for the service.
Lizzie enjoys the variety of her role and strives to empower and work alongside the team to provide the best possible care to service users at Victoria House.
Corrin Wardle - Victoria Ward Manager
Corrin completed a Psychology degree in 2014 and then qualified as a Registered Mental Health Nurse in 2017. She joined Cygnet later that year in one of the mental health rehabilitation and recovery services. Whilst there she progressed to senior nurse and then transferred to Cygnet Victoria House, where she held a post of Clinical Team Leader before being promoted to her current position.
Corrin enjoys the variety of her role and being able to contribute to the positive changes that benefit the service users and staffing team.
Eleanor Green – Assistant Psychologist
Eleanor completed a Psychology degree in 2019, then a Master’s degree in Forensic Psychology in 2020. She has worked in secure mental health services and adult inpatient mental health for the past 2 years and joined Cygnet in 2020 as an Assistant Psychologist/Research Assistant for a Neuropsychiatric Rehabilitation service. In 2021, Eleanor transferred to Cygnet Victoria House.
Eleanor has been a researcher for several projects whilst working for Cygnet, including exploring patient peer dynamics, delivering staff mindfulness sessions, and a ‘patient experience’ study involving staff being admitted onto the ward for the day. Eleanor is proud to be a part of the team at Victoria House and enjoys the variety in her role across the PICU and Acute service.
Victoria Wisniewski – Occupational Therapist
Victoria qualified as an Occupational Therapist in 2010 at Teesside University. Prior to this, Victoria had a career working in learning disabilities and mental health in South Africa until she witnessed an Occupational Therapist carrying out Sensory Integration with an autistic child and realised what career pathway she wanted to pursue. Victoria has worked in mental health rehabilitation and currently leads an Occupational Therapy team in the Acute & PICU services at Cygnet Victoria House.
Victoria has a keen interest in Sensory Integration and has completed Level 2 in Sensory Integration training and is currently undertaking Level 3. The OT pathway at Victoria House is underpinned by the Model of Human Occupation and Victoria is also trained in Occupational Case Formulation and the Vona Du Toit Model of Creative Ability.
Victoria is currently the Clinical Lead OT for Acute and PICU services and has a keen interest in service development.
Lisa Featherstone - Hospital Administrator
Lisa helps to provide reception and administration services. Prior to joining Cygnet Victoria House she previously worked for nine years in Banking and before that 12 years for the police.
Lisa's role is extremely varied and finds that no two days are ever the same. She is proud to be working as part of a larger team whose main focus is to provide a positive change to people’s lives.
