Meet the Managers
Chantelle Womersley - Registered Manager
Chantelle began her career in the community care services back in 2015, starting out as a Support Worker and progressing into more senior roles. Chantelle was eager to take on new challenges and naturally had the emotional intelligence to cope well in person facing roles. In order to aid her development Chantelle completed the gold award, a programme offered to Team Leaders wanting to become Managers by attending workshops with other like-minded colleagues wanting to challenge themselves.
Shortly after, in 2018 Chantelle landed the opportunity to become dual Deputy Manager at Norcott Lodge and Norcott House; which gave her a real confidence boost. In 2020, Chantelle was appointed as Registered Manager at Norcott Lodge and has never looked back since.
As well as being the Registered Manager at Norcott Lodge, Chantelle is also a StRaW Practice Manager across the Cygnet services. Chantelle provides support, reassurance and helps build resilience where colleagues have been exposed to difficult situations while working in our services.
Chantelle is keen to support others and empowers her staff team to get the best out of them. This, in turn, helps the service to achieve the best outcomes for the individuals they support.
Joel Hollingworth - Deputy Manager
Joel has over 5 years’ experience working with Learning Disability. Joel started out as a Support Worker back in 2018, progressing through the roles of Acting Team Leader and Team Leader, prior to starting in his current role as the Deputy Manager at Norcott Lodge back in March 2022.
Joel is passionate about supporting people with a learning disability to engage fully in their community and reach their potential using a person-centred approach.
