Jorden Gallagher - Service Manager
Jorden is a Registered Learning Disability Nurse with over twelve years’ experience in supporting people with a learning disability in a range of health and social care sectors. Since qualifying with a Bachelor's degree in Learning Disability Nursing with Distinction from Edinburgh Napier University; Jorden has developed a special interest in supporting adults with a dual diagnosis of learning disability and autism spectrum disorder.
Over the last few years Jorden has expanded her experience as a clinical nurse and leader in the independent care sector, in roles that have ranged from Staff Nurse through to Clinical Lead Nurse in additional to further management roles. Jorden returned to Ranaich House as the Deputy Manager in 2021 after being previously employed as the Senior Staff Nurse before being promoted to the Service Manager later in the year.
Jorden has a passion for promoting the delivery of person centred care, which is achieved within the framework for Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) and active support, aimed at developing Service User’s independence and choice to achieve meaningful and measurable outcomes for Service Users. Jorden feels that ensuring Service Users reach their individual goals and get the most out of life is vitally important and she leads the team to achieve this in her everyday practice.
Kirsty Dickson – Activity Co-ordinator
Kirsty has been the activity co-ordinator at Ranaich house in Dunblane for over 6 years. Kirsty has worked in education and residential services for over 20 years. Kirsty was an Autism Practitioner for Scottish Autism, East Park School & residential service, and schools within Glasgow surrounding areas.
Kirsty’s qualifications ranges from a degree in computer programming and web design to qualified early years practitioner and autism.
Kirsty’s ambition is to give all Ranaich House service users a voice and enable them to live as full a life as possible. Her foremost objective is to rehabilitate them back into a community setting by providing life skills and therapeutic activities, using a person centred approach.
Anne Scotland – Staff Nurse
Anne joined the Ranaich House team 2019. Anne has nearly 15 years’ experience working as a Staff Nurse in mental health, learning disability and challenging behaviour services.Hailey McLaughlin - Senior Support Worker
Hailey has been a senior support worker at Ranaich House for 4 years. Hailey has worked in care for over 14 years through 2 care organisations – a nursing home and agency work.
Hailey currently has her SVQ 2 and is working towards her SVQ 3.
Hailey is a key part of the team at Ranaich House, and Hailey is keen to promote the independence and rehabilitate the individuals at Ranaich House. Hailey continues to be a massive part of successful transitions from Ranaich House to community placements.
