“Thank you so much for putting on my sister’s party. It was just fantastic. I know how much she enjoyed it. Especially seeing old familiar faces. I can’t remember seeing her so happy. It was perfect.”Family member

Ongoing assessment and high staffing levels, based on a minimum ratio of one staff member to two residents, means that we are able to meet the changing needs of residents as they progress through their care pathway, while ensuring their safety is maintained and their independence supported. Regular review meetings involving the resident, their family and professionals are held to review outcomes, set new goals and re-assess support levels as individuals’ progress.

“Placing my brother at Walkern Lodge was a blessing to my family. He was in a bad place before moving to Walkern Lodge. Since he was placed there he has made tremendous progress. We can’t thank the staff at the service enough. They maintained regular communication with me and make sure that my brother talks to me whenever he wants to. They also bring him to visit my family regularly.”Family member
