Party Time at Cygnet Aspen House

The team at Cygnet Aspen House have been showing great team spirit over the lockdown period and have been able to take advantage of the good weather to hold a number of celebrations and parties for the benefit of service users and staff alike.

New Café and Shop a success at Cygnet Churchill

The Occupational Therapy team at Cygnet Churchill, our mental health hospital for men in south London, have been helping service users to continue some of their familiar routines by opening a new café and convenience store in the therapy piazza. The team have also started a new gardening group.

Pulling Together at Cygnet Aspen House

Staff and service users at Cygnet Aspen House have been pulling together to keep their morale high during this difficult time and have put together a new therapy programme.

Three new PICU services now open

Three new specialist PICU services are now open and accepting admissions. These include two services for men, at Cygnet Hospital Stevenage and Cygnet Victoria House and one new service for women at Cygnet Appletree near Durham.

Cygnet Newham House opening in Summer 2020

Cygnet Newham House, our brand new neuropsychiatric care and treatment facility in Middlesbrough for women will be opening in Summer 2020. The service will be Cygnet Health Care's first female neuropsychiatric service and will comprise of 12 hospital beds and 8 transitional care beds. Referrals are now being taken.

Keeping Active at Cygnet Sherwood House

The team at Cygnet Sherwood House are working hard to keep service users as active as possible during the current restrictions implemented by the government. Activities in the last week have included bingo, pool tournaments, a gardening group, art sessions and gym sessions.

Service users and staff at Cygnet Elms have brought a splash of colour to their local community by joining the Rainbow Trail to spread hope during the lockdown.
