We asked for creative original artwork that we could print and become our 2021 Cygnet Christmas Cards. We had over 70 entries from 25 different services and wards and the standard, as always, was extremely high.
Service users and residents across the group and the senior management team were all sent a shortlisted selection of entries and score sheets, we were then able to total all of the scores to determine the top 10.
We had an amazing range of artwork entered including glitter and sequins, collages, and even a video entry. The selection and variety was fantastic which made it extremely difficult to judge.
After counting all the votes, we are proud to announce our 3 winning designs are from the services below:
- 1st place – New Dawn Ward, Cygnet Hospital Beckton in London
- 2nd place – Lower West Ward, Cygnet Hospital Bury in the North West
- 3rd place – Sheffield Day Services in South Yorkshire
We also had a very unique entry from the service users at Cygnet Delfryn Lodge that has been awarded a prize, this special Christmas card will be shared later this month. All winners will receive copies of their cards and a gift voucher.
As the standards were so high we are also featuring a selection from our top 10 on the back of each card. Artwork from the following services were selected and are our runners up:
