Cygnet Hospital Maidstone is our new state-of-the-art, 65 bed mental health facility for adults situated in the new Kent Medical Campus in Maidstone. The hospital is due to open in September 2018.
Dr Mathew is currently a Consultant Psychiatrist for a mixed acute adult inpatient unit in London. He completed his core training in The Royal London and Barts training scheme, his higher training in The South London and Maudsley training scheme and received his CCT in Adult and Rehabilitation Psychiatry.
Dr Mathew has an extensive background in medical education, mental health law and experience in alcohol and substance misuse. He also has a special interest in military psychiatry.

Cygnet Hospital Maidstone is purpose built to meet the latest national specifications for improving mental health within a therapeutic environment. The hospital will provide an important and much-needed service for local patients from Kent.
