Staff contribute over 300 eggs to JCI Bradford Easter Egg Appeal

Staff from Cygnet Hospital Wyke and Cygnet Lodge Brighouse have contributed a total of 302 eggs (including bunnies!) to the Junior Chambers International (JCI) Bradford Easter Egg Appeal. Originally launched in 2014 the JCI Bradford Easter Egg Appeal aims to bring a little bit of happiness at Easter time to disadvantaged families and children in Bradford.

“Cygnet’s contribution was phenomenal for their first time, collecting such a large amount of Easter eggs and it comes down to a very popular quote ‘the more you put in, the more you get out’. Staff at Cygnet drove the appeal and made a big fuss with full support of their management which created a very successful project. My heartfelt thanks and gratitude go out to everyone at Cygnet Hospital Wyke and Cygnet Lodge Brighouse and the many other local people, organisations and schools who have helped deliver this massively successful appeal in collecting 1,070 eggs.”Philip Cavalier-Lumley, Past President of JCI Bradford

Sally Pemberton, a Medical Secretary from Cygnet Hospital Wyke, co-ordinated the efforts at Wyke and Brighouse and said, “I would like to thank everybody who contributed at Cygnet Hospital Wyke and Cygnet Lodge Brighouse for their remarkable kindness throughout the appeal. The support of the staff has been amazing!”
