On Friday 9th June 2023, we held our first National Carers, Families and Friends Network Event at Cygnet Churchill.
On Tuesday 6th June the Yorkshire and Humber Involvement Network held their annual involvement conference, this year in the form of a live music festival called Welly Fest 23! Cygnet has sponsored the event for a number of years and were pleased yet again to sponsor and join the 2023 celebrations at the Sandal Rugby Club near Wakefield.
Well done to the team at Cygnet Alders Clinic who have seen the service’s rating upgraded to ‘Good’ following the latest inspection by the Care Quality Commission (CQC).
In 2020 we launched our Characters of Care recognition scheme; a peer-to-peer initiative that empowers staff to celebrate their colleagues for doing an exceptional job and we’re delighted to be able to announce our Characters of Care award winners for 2022.

Congratulations to Cassandra Palin, Deputy Manager at our Staffordshire Supported Living service in Wolverhampton, who has been named a finalist in the inaugural Housing with Care Awards. Cassandra is nominated in the Frontline Leader Award.
Cygnet's CEO Tony Romero successfully led a Cygnet team to the top of Yr Wyddfa/Snowdon last week on a charity trek that has raised a massive £10,000 to support health workers with their mental health.
