Raf Hamaizia, Cygnet Health Care's Expert by Experience Lead, has recently been at the forefront of a campaign by the Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC) for Mental Health Awareness Week. The campaign, 'Putting mental health at the top of the agenda', features a number of video testimonials by experts by experience, including Raf, talking about their experiences of detention under the Mental Health Act.

The sale of The Limes Hospital, previously run by CAS Behavioural Health, to Elysium Healthcare was approved by the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA), bringing to a close the CMA process relating to the merger of Cygnet Health Care and the Adult Services Division of the Cambian Group.
